Anyone can become a more compelling and confident presenter. Whether you’re addressing a room full of people or speaking online, this workshop provides the tools to help you stand out, inspire action, and leave a lasting impression.
In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn how to:
- Clarify Your Message: Use a strategic framing exercise to quickly identify what to say and how to structure it for maximum clarity and impact.
- Engage Your Audience: Discover proven techniques to captivate listeners from your very first word and maintain their attention throughout.
- Elevate Your Visuals: Get actionable advice on creating powerful visual aids that enhance your presentation rather than distract from it.
You will leave with a clear roadmap for crafting compelling presentations, newfound confidence in your ability to command attention, and practical skills you can apply to pitch ideas, lead meetings, or deliver keynote addresses.
The course includes:
- An advanced workshop survey inviting participants to share their speaking contexts and identify their goals, which allows us to tailor the training to their needs
- Three 2-hour online sessions spaced one week apart provide an opportunity to reflect on and apply strategies shared
- Session 1 introduces some foundational preparation tools and strategies (strategic frame, value of structure, strong openings) proven to increase audience engagement and presenter confidence
- Session 2 digs into key aspects of storytelling, authenticity and presence, providing concrete do’s and don’ts for physical and verbal effectiveness
- Session 3 gives each participant the opportunity to test the tools learned in a safe environment and receive candid and supportive feedback on what they’re doing well, and how they might improve
- To derive the most benefit from the investment, participants are encouraged to plan to spend an hour between sessions one and two to apply the tools to a speaking scenario relevant to them.
