Registered Physiotherapist & Neuroscientist, York University / Toronto Rehabilitation Institute
Meaghan Adam's research focuses on assessing motor, cognitive, and sensory changes after concussion in working-aged people; particularly the differences between men and women. Her career began in clinical physiotherapy, and she has worked in sports medicine and vestibular rehabilitation, focusing on concussion rehabilitation. In Adam's business, OneBrain Neuroscience, she provides evidence-based concussion and neuroscience education to health care providers and fitness professionals. Adam's pursued health care because she wanted to help people, and teaching concussion best practices and explaining the amazing power of the brain to guide movement allows Adams to help many more people than she can in my clinical practice alone.
