Dr. Nadia Hasan is an assistant professor in the School of Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies and the Director of the Islamophobia Research Hub at York University. Her research and community work focus on systemic racism and Islamophobia in legal, administrative, and discursive regimes and their relation to Muslim life. Hasan has several publications including community-based studies on systemic Islamophobia and the charitable sector, Quebec's Bill 21, and Islamophobia, anti-Arab and anti-Palestinian racism in Canada.
